Using the Stagecoach bus could not be easier. 

First of all decide on what bus you need. Our web site contains timetables for all our services or you can call Traveline on 0871 200 2233 where staff will be able to assist with planning your journey.

As the bus approaches you will be able to see the route number and destination on the front.  If this is your bus then simply signal for the driver to stop, wait until the bus is stopped and the doors are fully opened and step on board.

Tell the driver where you are going and what type of ticket you require - if you are unsure then your driver will be able to advise you.  If you already have one of our many bargain multi journey tickets, such as the Megarider, then simply show this to your driver.  If you are using a concession or other type of pass then please have this ready when you board.

We accept cash and give change on the vast majority of our services, please check with the driver when you board.

Many of our buses have special zones where buggies and shopping trolleys can be safely parked. Please feel free to use the fold-down seats so that you can sit next to your buggy.  Many of our buses are also wheelchair accessible.  Please check with your local company for full details of routes serviced by wheelchair accessible buses.  Once on board sit back and enjoy the journey.

When you want to get off, press the bell once. For your safety we recommend you remain seated until the bus has arrived at the stop.

Sometimes the bus back home leaves from a different bus stop. Please ask the driver if you are unsure where the bus leaves for your return journey.
